On Thursday, January 18th, join the NCCC and STAND WITH SANDS!

The Town of Hempstead is holding two public hearings to discuss the draft scope of the environmental analysis of the Sands New York project proposed for Nassau County.  The hearings will be held at the Long Island Marriott on January 18th at 10:30 am and 6 pm.

Sands has proposed the most robust draft scope for the environmental review which amongst other elements will include air quality, soil, noise, water, light, parking, and traffic analysis including over 100 intersections.

All Long Islanders are encouraged to join us to support this transformational project. We must get this project moving – along with all the jobs and revenue it will bring with it.  Your voice is critical at this moment, and we hope you will join us at the hearings and consider speaking on why you support this project.
