DESCRIPTION:On Thursday\, January 18th\, join the NCCC and STAND WITH SANDS! \nThe Town of Hempstead is holding two public hearings to discuss the draft scope of the environmental analysis of the Sands New York project proposed for Nassau County.  The hearings will be held at the Long Island Marriott on January 18th at 10:30 am and 6 pm. \nSands has proposed the most robust draft scope for the environmental review which amongst other elements will include air quality\, soil\, noise\, water\, light\, parking\, and traffic analysis including over 100 intersections. \nAll Long Islanders are encouraged to join us to support this transformational project.
