Hempstead Chamber is on the Move – Watch for Coming Events – Next Meeting November 18, 2009November 18, 2009
On Wednesday November 18, 2009 at 6:30 PM in the Community Room at the Hempstead Library, the Hempstead Chamber of Commerce will host a dialogue with Toni Cavanaugh, representative of the American Red Cross. Discussion will center on the many activities of the Red Cross, both in times of crisis and in less troubled times.
A light supper will be served and all are welcome.
Holiday time is around the corner. This year the Hempstead Chamber invites members of the business and residential community to enjoy lunch with us on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 from 11 AM to 2 PM at our headquarters in the 1776 House in Denton Green Park directly across the street from Hempstead Village Hall. There will be an opportunity to network, talk, eat and celebrate the season with our neighbors and friends. No need to call, just attend.
Meet Charles Conley, second generation owner of Walsh-Conley Religious Goods, Inc. On October l9, 2009 Mr. Conley received the Hempstead Business of the Year Award from the Nassau County Council of Chambers of Commerce. The award was given at the annual Legislative Breakfast and those on hand to extend congratulations included Leo Fernandez, President of the Hempstead Chamber of Commerce; Kate Murray, Supervisor, Town of Hempstead; Dorothy Goosby, Councilwoman, Town of Hempstead and Mark Bonilla, Town of Hempstead Clerk.
